A Halloween Tree

Those of you who came to The Pink Bee last year might remember this branch tree

We hung little birds and glittery stars from tree branches spray painted white.
Here is a spooky version that is perfect for Halloween.

For this one I spray painted the branches black and hung black and orange decorations.
It's really quite easy to make and is definitely a conversation piece!

Some of the Cutest Things Ever!

Imagine our delight when we received a shipment from Blabla and found these cute little guys inside!

Babies love them! This year The Pink Bee will be offering several designs of these dolls, if we can bear to part with them!

Who Doesn't Love Doormats?

My husband doesn't understand how anyone can possibly need so many doormats. After explaining to him the importance of having a doormat for every holiday and/or season, he seems to have finally resigned himself to the fact. Last year our doormats were one of our best sellers because they make great gifts, especially for bunco and dirty santa gift exchanges. What a festive way to welcome guests to your house!

It's Fast Approaching!

It's hard to believe that October is here and the weekend for The Pink Bee's sale is fast approaching! This year's sale will be November 8th and 9th at 98 Franklin Street Clarksville, TN, which is next door to the Downtown Artists Cooperative. This is a different location from last year but we couldn't be happier with it!

This is one of the many new items we have and it is one of our favorites! It would be perfect for your holiday gatherings, I can picture it piled high with cookies now!
We'll be adding more pictures and updates soon!

Glitter, Glitter Everywhere!

We had a wonderful and succssful trip to Atlanta. Boxes have been arriving by the day and you know it's a good box when you're covered with glitter after opening it! We're real excited about some of the things we found, including some handmade ornaments and decorations. We've also got Toss makeup and tote bags in new patterns, including leopard print with orange trim! We hope to get some pictures posted soon.

We promise we will search high and low for that something special that will make your holiday season perfect! We'll be sure to post more information and some pictures from our trip. In the meantime, we hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July! We'll leave you with a recipe for chess pie, which makes a perfect dessert to take to 4th of July picnics and celebrations!

Welcome to The Pink Bee Blog!

We would like to start by welcoming everyone to our blog! For those of you who aren't familiar with The Pink Bee we are a unique store, offering holiday decorations and gift ideas. After what felt like the hundredth trip to Nashville and beyond one Christmas season, we decided we wanted to open a store selling cute, traditional, and vintage inspired holiday decorations. Now we know The Pink Bee is not an ordinary name for a holiday store but this is not your ordinary store. Because Haven lives in Clarksville, TN and Wendy now lives in Charlotte, NC we couldn't have a store with regular hours. So, we decided we would open a store for one weekend in November. Last year was our first year and The Pink Bee was open November 10th and 11th. We'd like to thank everyone who came and hoped we helped to make your holiday a little more fabulous! We also need to thank our family and friends who helped us set up and provided back-up for the weekend. We are currently working on plans for this year's "Open House" and plan to use this blog to keep you updated. Have a great weeknd!
